Race Details & The Challenge
Our Pacific Challenge begins in June 2025. Teams from around the world will embark on a 4,444 km (2,800-mile) journey from Monterey, California, to Kauai, Hawaii, in ocean rowing boats. This extreme endurance race brings together individuals from across the globe who test themselves against Mother Nature, as well as racing thousands of kilometres across the Pacific Ocean.
Sleep deprivation, hallucinations, hunger—this ultimate test of body and mind will be met with a profound connection to nature: sightings of marine life, adapting to ever-changing weather, and witnessing breathtaking sunrises, glorious sunsets, and mesmerizing night skies. As well as the extreme physical hardships, the team will experience deep camaraderie, personal achievement, self-discovery, and immense pride. The race will test the rowers to their physical limits, but offers a unique opportunity to bond as a team and work together to face an extraordinary adventure.
