Delighted to sponsor the Ocean5 Team on their amazing adventure. We all know that plastics in the ocean is a major issue. Unfortunately everyone thinks it’s someone else’s responsibility. Well done for doing something about it. As someone famous once said “The ocean stirs the heart, inspires the imagination and brings eternal joy to the soul” – let’s make sure it stays that way for future generations.
Delighted to be part of the team – wishing you every success!

As a seafarer myself, the challenge this team are going to undertake blows my mind! I’ve crossed the Atlantic a few times on large powered vessels filled with creature comforts such as TV and laundry facilities, and even then it took a long time. The respect I have for my partner and the rest of the Ocean5 team for taking on this challenge is immense. I love the fact they are supporting the Plastic Soup Foundation – it’s an extremely relevant cause for the industry I work in. I wish them all the best and can’t wait to see them on the other side!
Good luck Sam from your freedom family

Are starting to row to keep a dream alive,
The dream here is to beat the world record,
How I wish the best of all on board,
A long few days ahead in the ocean,
I just hope they can stick with the motion
Unreal challenge ahead, for a very worthy cause. Best of luck!
Good luck with this fantastic challenge, for a very worthy cause… and if you hear a seagull don’t look up!

Row, eat, sleep, repeat. Row hard but enjoy every minute of the experience and look after each other along the way, both physically and mentally. And remember that most failures are by people who did not realise how close they were to success when they gave up.

YOU ARE KEY TO US TAKING PART
Sponsors for the team will allow us to cover the costs of necessary equipment and entry fees to compete in the challenge. Put simply, without your support we cannot make this dream a reality. Our objective is to involve sponsors and contribute £250,000 to the Plastic Soup Foundation.
The Plastic Soup Foundation are leading the fight against plastic pollution directly at source by preventing it entering the environment and the ocean. Today there is 393 million tons of plastic in the ocean, 99 % of which is hidden below the surface as the “plastic soup”.
